J.D. Drew went 3-5 with two RBI’s and Manny Ramirez belted homerun #504 in the Sox win over the Mariners 11-3.
Tim Wakefield improved to 4-4 on the season pitching seven innings, on five hits, two runs, two walks, and six strikeouts.

How The Draft Was Run The intent was to do this during the draft in conjunction with each of Baltimore’s first five selections. Though our draft day coverage was cut short due to the demands of the real world, the Shadow Draft has been run. Hal Steinbrenner said on friday that There are no plans to sit down and talk with general manager Brian Cashman about his contract status. This completely contradicts Hal brother, Hank, who said earlier in the week that they were trying to iron out an extension with Cash Money but I guess Ca$h is gonna have to chill until the end of the season.
