Some cats and kittens have very strong hunting instincts and may be attracted to certain objects that remind them of prey. In some cases the cat might redirect his behavior toward humans and that could be problematic therefore perhaps removing the objects from the environment is prudent. If that is the case, it is necessary to provide this cat with sufficient play and exercise to meet his needs in other ways and with other toys. A climbing tower, hiding places and even feeder toys might be good outlets for a cat like this one.

Cats that live together may have certain territory that they guard from the other cat.
